The Story Behind a Trusted Hyderabad Psychiatrist
Dr. Uday Kiran completed his MBBS from Kamineni Medical College, Hyderabad — building a deep clinical foundation and an early awareness of the critical gap in mental health care across mainstream medicine in India.
Over the following years in clinical practice, he encountered countless patients who had spent years without an accurate diagnosis or appropriate psychiatric care — dismissed, stigmatized, or over-medicated without holistic understanding. This became his defining mission.
Known today as a trusted psychiatrist in Hyderabad, Dr. Uday Kiran built a model of psychiatric care that is evidence-based, ethically grounded, multidisciplinary in approach, and genuinely accessible — with a focus on psychiatric excellence across Hyderabad.
In 2018, he founded Bharosa Neuro Psychiatry Hospital in Karmanghat, Hyderabad. The name "Bharosa" means trust in Hindi and Urdu. The hospital has grown into a trusted destination for de-addiction, psychiatric rehabilitation, inpatient care, and comprehensive mental health treatment, serving patients from across the region.
Currently completing his MD Psychiatry residency at Osmania Medical College, Dr. Uday Kiran continues to raise the bar for academic and clinical psychiatry — grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and an unwavering commitment to every patient's recovery.
